What a chart position means

Positions and badges are calculated from the assistants' answers. We do not choose the order by hand. A rise or fall shows a change in recommendations, rather than a measured change in product quality or sales.

Where AI is used

The recommendations come from AI assistants and may be wrong, outdated or biased. They can also name products that do not exist.

The monthly check compares leading products with buyer ratings, review videos, press reviews, owner reports and official recalls. AI also reads video transcripts to estimate review scores and reads owner reports to identify serious failures. The cards label these readings and link to sources.

Check the product's details and current sources before buying.

What we have tested

We do not run hands-on tests for these charts. A listing does not mean we have bought or used the product. An absent or low-ranked product may simply be mentioned less often by the assistants.

What the check marks mean

"Fails the check", "People disagree" and "Passes the check" follow the rules on the Methodology page. Each mark summarises the source data shown in the product's card. It is not a rating from our own testing or a personal endorsement.

"Not checked" means we have no check data for that product yet. It does not mean the product passed or failed.

Deciding what to buy

The site provides general information. It cannot tell you whether a product suits your health, finances, safety needs or other personal circumstances. Ask a qualified professional when a purchase needs medical, legal, financial or safety advice.

Commercial links

We currently have no affiliate program. If we add affiliate links, we will label them "Ad" or "Affiliate". We may then earn a commission if you buy through a link, at no extra cost to you. Commercial relationships do not determine chart positions.

Names and logos

Brand names, product names and logos belong to their owners. We use them to identify the products and makers shown. Our Trademark Policy explains how to request a correction.

Report an error

Send incorrect names, outdated information or other errors to legal@whataiwouldbuy.com. We aim to reply within seven business days. For a copyright or other rights complaint, use the takedown procedure.

Limits on liability

We provide the site "as is" without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To that extent, we are not liable for direct, indirect or consequential losses from using it or relying on its content.
