Bedding
A category that looked stable at the topshed eight of ten positions in a fortnight.
Bedding tracked 435 brands over two weeks ending June 8. Eight of the top ten positions changed hands. That number — 82% turnover — was the highest of any corner tracked in Mattresses & Sleep.
141 brands have debuted in the category since tracking began. Three of them arrived inside the top three on June 8. The category is not settling. It is still sorting.
We take one category apart in depth as our history deepens. This season, Bedding earned the slot: more of its top ten turned over than any other corner of the catalogue — 82% of the top ten turned over.
Who climbed, who slipped, who arrived.
Alaska Bear moved from 21 to 2, the longest climb of the window. EPABO went from 12 to 3. Coyuchi pushed from 14 to 4. Against that current, Brookstone fell from 5 to 11, Mediflow dropped from 3 to 6, and Linenspa slid from 5 to 7. On June 8, three newcomers — Nidra, Mavogel, and MZOO — arrived at positions 1, 2, and 3.

The leaderboard churned.
Saatva and Brooklinen hold the top of the AI panel's race. Tempur-Pedic and Parachute are in the contest. Over the two weeks, the number-one position did not change once. The models are firm at the crown while the broader rankings beneath them move hard.

Same question, different answers.
Ask the assistants for the best duvet and they return four different answers. OpenAI chose LaCrosse Down Duvet. Claude chose Luxe Down Comforter. Gemini chose Down Duvet Insert All-Season. Perplexity chose All-Year Down Alternative Comforter. Four assistants, four number-one picks, zero overlap. On a question this specific, the machines have not converged.

The crowd saw it first.
Brookstone holds a 4.7-star average across 66 Google reviews. The models rank it 26th. The crowd and the models are 25 positions apart on the same brand. A 4.5-star category average says buyers are broadly satisfied, but the gap on Brookstone is a clean disagreement — not noise.

The crown has not moved. Saatva and Brooklinen are stable where the AI panel looks. Everything beneath them is in motion. Alaska Bear and EPABO made the kind of climbs that get attention. Nidra, Mavogel, and MZOO arrived at the top three on the last day of the window. Whether they hold is the only question that matters now.
- 01Whether Nidra, Mavogel, and MZOO hold their June 8 positions or fall back as fast as they arrived.
