How this is made

Reviewers praise
  • Significantly smaller and lighter than the previous generation, improving comfort for most ears
  • Noise cancellation is noticeably stronger, and transparency mode is among the best reviewers have tested
  • Battery life exceeds most competing buds, with fast-charge delivering meaningful playback quickly
Reviewers push back
  • Fit is ear-dependent — the stabiliser fin does not lock securely for all users, and extended wear can cause soreness
  • No lossless or high-resolution wireless audio codec support
  • Gemini Live is limited by cloud dependency, no device-level access, and inconsistent accuracy
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a genuine step forward in comfort, noise cancellation, and battery life, though fit varies by ear shape and Gemini integration feels more novelty than necessity.
— best for: Android users — especially Pixel phone owners — who want compact, comfortable buds with strong ANC, excellent transparency, and long battery life.

On Pixel Buds Pro 2: ANC performance is disputed: one reviewer rates it tier-S-adjacent but not quite AirPods Pro 2 level, while another considers it clearly competitive with top-tier buds

Absolutely love my AirPod Pro 3’s! They are definitely expensive so I put off buying them for a while, but after my old ones broke I finally decided to treat myself using a couple of vouchers I’d saved up. But honestly they’ve been completely worth it. The sound quality is unreal and far superior to my old ones and the bass packs a punch, the noise cancellation makes such a difference in busy plac Chaz2001 · argos.co.uk

Let me start with just WOW! What a wonderful design and quality of the sound. I just bought them last month after using original pixel buds for over 6 years. If you're using a pixel phone, this is the only headphones you need. It has over 9 hours of battery life, replaceable case battery, and charges really fast. The quality of the sound is also amazing and on top of it ANC is just too good. I use Dipen P · influenster.com
