interesting facts from running shoes
Nike makes shoes for speed. Adidas makes shoes for tradition and engineering both. New Balance appeals to runners who want fit over flash. Asics builds for biomechanics. Brooks concentrates on serious distance running. Hoka pushes cushioning past what others try. Saucony has a small loyal following. Salomon crosses from trail to road. Each brand has its people.
The split matters when you buy. Nike sponsors the fastest. Adidas has the longest history in running, starting from Adolf Dassler's factory in the 1920s. Brooks stays smaller by choice. Understand what each company believes about a foot striking ground, and you find the shoe that works for yours.
