Reviewers praise
  • Powerful 4.25 CHP motor handles heavy training and multiple users without strain
  • Deck cushioning significantly reduces joint impact compared to road running and other treadmills
  • Motor adjusts speed exceptionally fast, making interval training seamless
Reviewers push back

Reviewers praise
  • Exceptionally sturdy steel frame with triangulated uprights makes the console rock-solid with no screen wobble
  • Twenty percent incline and negative five percent decline—highest range of any folding treadmill
  • Large twenty-two inch wide by sixty inch long deck provides ample space for runners of any height or stride
Reviewers push back
  • Weighs three hundred thirty-six pounds and requires permanent placement—difficult to move even with transport wheels
  • Deck cushioning is firm underfoot and may not suit users with joint issues
  • Journey subscription service required to access streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu on the touchscreen
Reviewers agree the Bowflex Treadmill 22 is a solidly built, heavy-duty machine with exceptional incline range and a large running surface, though its size, weight, and firm cushioning limit its appeal.
— best for: Long-distance runners, heavy users training for races, or households with multiple users who need a durable machine with exceptional incline capability and space for full strides.

This machine is top notch. Its quiet, fast, and steep when you want it to be. The trainers on I fit arent bad at all. You get to see some cool places while you exercise. Just a warning its quite heavy. I assembled it by myself but it was a struggle. Once you set it somewhere I wouldnt plan to move it that often. Setup of the screen was easy. It seems like it going to last a while! Good thing since fitness-superstore.co.uk

Happy that I bought this treadmill as it is getting a lot of use! I run on this almost daily and it is performing well. I love how JRNY will tailor adaptive workouts for your level and make suggestions how you can run. Armband HR monitor is accurate Randall · scheels.com
