Reviewers praise
  • Solid, premium build quality with metal parts made in Italy
  • Grinder produces strong, crema-rich espresso and handles a wide range of grind settings and dose sizes
  • Cold brew and cold milk frothing system is genuinely distinctive and produces a full-bodied iced drink without watering it down
Reviewers push back
  • Companion app is clunky and only marginally useful; remote start is undermined by an automatic rinse cycle
  • Bean Adapt feature requires the app to set up and its interaction with individual drink settings is confusing
  • Milk system needs manual disassembly and washing beyond its auto-rinse, since residue remains in parts of the circuit
Reviewers agree this is a well-built, feature-packed super-automatic that makes both hot and cold drinks with real customization, but the companion app is clunky and Bean Adapt setup is confusing.
— best for: Buyers who want a single machine that makes both hot espresso drinks and true cold brew/iced coffee with minimal daily fuss will like it.

One reviewer found the touchscreen interface excellent overall despite app frustrations, while another felt the whole Bean Adapt logic just doesn't make sense as designed

I can't say enough positive things about this machine. It took me days just to get off the cappuccinos and to the other drinks I enjoy and it nails every single one. It just nails them all. It took some time with the initial setup with the Bean Adept feature to make sure it adjusts to your preferences, but this maker just nails it. Add a little syrup if you like and it'll taste like your drinks ju BCole · williams-sonoma.com
