What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Elite 8 Active
across 5 reviews
4.0/5
mixed
Reviewers praise
  • IP68 dust and waterproof rating on earbuds with IP54-rated case makes them exceptionally durable for intense activity
  • Secure, stable fit during running and workouts thanks to ShakeGrip rubber coating and compact design that sits flush
  • Good active noise cancellation and adjustable transparency mode for outdoor awareness
Reviewers push back
  • In-canal design pushes earwax deeper into the ear canal, requiring frequent cleaning
  • Physical buttons jam earbuds further into ears with each press
  • Voice call quality and microphone performance lag behind more expensive models
they're designed for people who don't like having ear tips jammed in their ears
CNET · best for Athletes and active users who need rugged, sweat-proof earbuds with reliable fit and good sound for workouts, running, or outdoor use in harsh conditions.
QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds
3.4/5
Reviewers praise
  • Outstanding active noise cancellation, particularly effective against low-frequency rumble like jet engines and trains
  • Comfortable secure fit with multiple ear tip and stability band combinations that stay in place during movement
  • Strong battery performance at six hours per charge with ANC enabled, twenty-four hours total with case
Reviewers push back
  • Bass is heavily overemphasized by default, requiring EQ adjustment that the three-band equalizer struggles to address fully
  • No wireless charging support despite premium positioning
  • No multi-point connection—users must manually switch between devices in the app
Reviewers agree these deliver exceptional noise cancellation and comfort but stumble on tuning and missing conveniences.
— best for: Travelers and commuters who prioritize best-in-class noise cancellation and secure fit over tonal accuracy will find these excel at blocking constant ambient noise.

These durable earbuds are my go-to pair. They're waterproof and have survived a wash in the machine, and they offer incredible sound and noise cancellation. They fit snugly and the smart case with BLE audio allows you to connect to any device that doesn't have Bluetooth, including in-flight entertainment. Strongly recommend to someone looking for a solid pair of earbuds that will last for a while! Prasham P · influenster.com

coming from using the galaxy buds pro ear buds for the last few years, which seem to have gone down in quality, these are so much better. Comparable or better sound quality. the noise cancellation is WAY better. i work in a noisy office where each desk is touching the next, and am usually surrounded by chewing, clicking, talking, laughing, and construction noises all day. These block ALL of that o maddie · walmart.com
