Let me first just say, these are THE single best pair of lightweight hiking shoes I’ve ever owned! They are so comfortable, and fit me true to my normal hiking shoe size. I’ve truly been the most impressed with the sole on the Katabatic Low. I’ve used many fast packing shoes, and the soles on these are excellent, grip in all conditions (I do a ton of scrambling/ exposed hikes and they’ve never let KYLIE Y. · obozfootwear.com

I bought these in February for a 3 month trip that involved lots of hiking. They got plenty of use on all types of trails, including trails with slippery scree, and are the best shoes I've had for bouldering in Joshua Tree. The grip and traction of the soles is unbelievable.
