divided
Reviewers praise
  • No fishy aftertaste or burps reported by direct-taste reviewers
  • Reviewers cite consistent research links to heart, brain, and joint health
  • Dosage levels of EPA and DHA are seen as meeting or exceeding common recommendations
Reviewers push back
  • Scientific evidence for benefits like dry eye relief is inconsistent and debated even among doctors
  • Plant-based omega-3 sources convert poorly compared to fish oil, so results vary by diet
  • A handful of users still report fish burps despite manufacturer claims
Reviewers generally trust fish oil for heart, brain, and joint support, and one direct BioSchwartz review reports no fishy aftertaste, but the strongest evidence in this set comes from general omega-3 experiments rather than product-specific testing.
— best for: People who don't regularly eat fish and want a convenient, low-aftertaste way to support heart, brain, and joint health.

This is the best omega 3 fish oil supplement I have ever bought. I originally purchased this due to the high amount of DHA(which is thought to be excellent for brain health), that it was third party tested and lemon flavored (so no undesirable fish burps, yuck!). I can’t say it’s this supplement for certain, but when I see my cardiologist she always asks what I do to get my triglycerides so low! I TB22 · bioschwartz.com
