Critics & buyers

What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Q5 Max+
across 5 reviews
4.0/5
mixed
Reviewers praise
  • Strong suction and above-average carpet deep-cleaning performance
  • Reliable lidar navigation with accurate multi-room mapping and no-go zone support
  • Above-average battery life with automatic recharge-and-resume
Reviewers push back
  • Long human hair tangles heavily around the brush rolls and must be removed manually
  • No mopping capability, not even a basic attachment option on base configurations
  • Obstacle avoidance is limited — low objects below the lidar plane are frequently struck or pushed rather than avoided
A capable, no-frills lidar robot vacuum that cleans carpets and hard floors well and navigates reliably, held back by hair-tangling brush rolls and the absence of mopping.
— best for: Pet owners and busy households who want set-and-forget cleaning on mixed hard floors and carpets, and can tolerate occasional brush-roll maintenance for long hair.

Reviewers praise
  • Smart room-by-room mapping and scheduling via app and voice assistants
  • Systematic cleaning pattern that covers floors thoroughly and faster than budget models
  • Dual rubber brushes resist hair tangling well
Reviewers push back
  • No camera navigation, so it bumps into furniture and walls, sometimes loudly
  • Mopping requires manually swapping bins and moving rugs out of the way first
  • Suction power tests below brand and category average
Reviewers agree the Roomba Combo i5+ vacuums thoroughly and maps rooms well, with mopping and pet-hair handling serving as basic bonuses rather than deep-clean solutions.
— best for: Buyers who want reliable daily vacuuming with room-specific control and occasional light mopping on hardwood floors.

I bought this Roborock Q10 S5+ with mopping and automatic emptying a week ago for my birthday present for myself and I’m just now opening the box and can I tell you that I fell in love with this vacuum it actually cleaned my whole entire house and it left it looking spotless. I didn’t know which Roborock vacuum that I wanted to purchase that didn’t cost a lot of money so my mind chose this model a Rockey 2025 · us.roborock.com
