What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Southern Weather Blend
across 2 reviews
2.5/5
mixed
Reviewers praise
  • Chocolate and candied walnut notes come through clearly, especially in milk-based drinks
  • Smooth mouthfeel with no harsh or aggressive character
  • Approachable and easy to drink across brew methods including espresso and americano
Reviewers push back
  • Promised tasting notes — plum, juicy quality, citrus oil — are largely absent or too subtle to detect
  • Lacks complexity and excitement; both reviewer groups landed in middle-of-the-road territory
  • Citrus and fruity notes disappear entirely behind milk
A smooth, inoffensive blend with clear chocolate and walnut notes, but it falls short of exciting for those chasing complexity.
— best for: Milk-drink drinkers who want a reliable, smooth daily blend with background chocolate and nut character and no sharp edges.

The casual reviewers found little to praise and scored it around the midpoint; the specialty-coffee pair were warmer, finding it a reliable and pleasant bean worth finishing the bag

The Packaging is super cool. I wish I could say more about it. It's a very dense, light roast (although I don't believe it was advertised as a lighter roast). If it's a medium, it's a new school medium (which is old school light). ANYWAY, the problem is that I have Breville Pro, and the attached conical burr grinder, can't handle the beans without stalling. This is true of ALL such coffees, and no TyMarx · fellowproducts.com
