Reviewers4.33 video reviews

Reviewers agree Monopoly Deal delivers the strategy of Monopoly in a fast card-game format that families and casual groups find easy to enjoy.

Buyers4.7564 ratings

Owners love the fast-paced, easy-to-learn gameplay and solid packaging, but card print quality divides them—some received defective decks with indistinguishable colors that made the game unplayable.

Brand claims5/6 true6 promises checked

The marketing claims about gameplay speed, player count, learning curve, and strategic value are well-supported by buyer and expert reviews. However, the claim that the game is "easy to learn but difficult to master" understates the difficulty younger children face with the rules, and larger groups experience slower, more complex play—making it less universally easy than implied. A significant caveat is that some buyers received defective decks with poor print quality that made the game unplayable, though this appears to be a quality control issue rather than a design flaw.

In their words

Such a fun game! It kind of depends on your players thought, so it can be as slow and agonizing or quick and snappy as they make it so I recommend setting the intention and vibe before starting. But it does live up to its promise of generally is 15-30 minute rounds. The gameplay should be easy enough for a group of sober people to learn and pick up. I was replacing a lost monopoly deal game that I misplaced. This new deck was smaller than a regular deck, the card stock was thinner, but most frustrating was the ink was wrong. There was almost no discernible, difference between the black, brown and purple color cards, and between the red and orange. This made it impossible to play. I felt the deck was a complete throw away. Very disappointed. B
