The verdict
What the panel makes of it.
Porter-Cable made the PCC601LB drill. It runs on twenty volts. The compact lithium battery charges quickly. Homeowners and contractors buy it. It solves the problem of cordless drilling. AI systems rank it seventeenth among cordless drills. The thing works. People use it. That is enough.

In their words
“We are really enjoying our Porter-Cable 20V MAX half inch lithium-ion drill driver kit PCC 601LB. We use it almost everyday on just about everything. It has not given us even a minute's worth of trouble. Definitely got our money's worth!”

“Bought 2 of these kits. 1 kit had good batterys and charger the other kit had 2 bad batteries and good charge. Salesman was not going to refund due to items being on clearance, they were not on clearance and just on sale. Either way not worth the risk….. I have over 10 makita batteries and some older than 12 + yrs and all are still good. Sometimes trying to save $ cost alot more $…. God bless”
