Owners praise sound quality and comfort, but fit stability and design details like magnetic earpiece holders divide them, with some finding them inferior to cheaper alternatives.

Brand claims1/3 true3 promises checked

The marketing claim about sound quality and water resistance is well-supported by owner feedback. However, the claim about ergonomic ear fins ensuring secure fit overstates reality—while comfort is praised, fit stability is inconsistent, and some owners specifically criticize the lack of magnetic earpiece holders and retention issues. Battery life and technical specs remain unverified by the available review data.

The verdict

What the panel makes of it.

The CX Sport ranks sixth among workout headphones, with buyers praising its sound and comfort at 3.8 out of 5, though opinions split sharply on fit stability and whether its design justifies the $80 price against cheaper rivals. Sennheiser markets the earbuds' sweat and splash resistance honestly overall, but overstates fit security claims—a gap worth checking if stable fit is critical for your workouts.

In their words

Good sound and extremely confortable. Iy may take some water as wll. Hard to find and may be old fashioned, but still my preferred device (owned 4 already, all of them lost)

llpa-4187 · verified purchase · ebay.com

Sound quality is good, but I was disappointed that: a. No magnets on the ear pieces to hold them together when not in your ears - I thought all wireless ones had them so unfortunately did not check before buying; and b. The ear pieces don't stay in quite as well as a much cheaper pair I had before these. Moral - think what you like about your previous ones before upgrading!
