The verdict

What the panel makes of it.

The GEL-Cumulus 26 earns strong buyer confidence with plush cushioning and lightweight construction that hold up well for daily running, though owners split on ventilation performance in warm weather. At $129–$140, it delivers durable comfort for runners who prioritize impact protection over breathability.

Breathability emerges as the weakest aspect among buyers, with one reviewer specifically suggesting the shoe vent could let in more air—a concern video reviewers may have flagged regarding heat management.

In their words

Even better than the Cumulus 25 which was its predecessor. This shoe is highly rated by the Postural Restoration Institute which is where I first learned about it. The shoe has made a big difference to me in staying uninjured over the last couple of years! A well cushioned shoe with a good heel counter. I really like the feel and comfort of this shoe.

1. Very light and comfy shoes. Break-in during my easy run. Perfect for 5km-10km run. HM should be ok too. Cumulus26 can improve on the shoe vent to let in more air..tested after rainy condition (road and pavement). Outsole traction much better than expected. Grip very well to the pavement..this will be my daily (easy/long/HM run) shoe for years to come 👍 2.
