Critics & buyers

What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Mineral Crème SPF 50
across 5 reviews
3.5/5
divided
Reviewers praise
  • Fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive, rosacea-prone, and eczema-prone skin.
  • Water resistant up to 80 minutes, making it practical for outdoor and water activities.
  • Enriched with antioxidants including vitamin C, green tea, pomegranate, and cranberry.
Reviewers push back
  • Noticeable white cast that can be a deal-breaker for medium to deeper skin tones.
  • Thick, silicone-heavy texture feels heavy on oily skin and takes effort to work in.
  • Transfers easily — disturbing the dried film with hands, hair, or clothing lifts it off.
A well-formulated mineral SPF that earns genuine praise for its fragrance-free, water-resistant, antioxidant-rich formula, but divides reviewers over its white cast, thick silicone texture, and suitability for darker skin tones.
— best for: People with normal to dry, sensitive, or rosacea-prone skin — especially those with fair to light skin tones who can tolerate a mild white cast and want reliable water resistance from a 100% mineral formula.
Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40
across 5 reviews
3.4/5
Reviewers praise
  • Completely invisible on all skin tones with no white cast
  • Blends quickly and feels lightweight on initial application
  • Functions as a makeup-gripping primer with a velvety finish
Reviewers push back
  • Heavy silicone texture feels greasy or thick to some users, especially with reapplication
  • Contains frankincense extract that may irritate very sensitive skin
  • Expensive for the amount of product compared to similar formulas
A silicone-based chemical sunscreen that works like a makeup primer, leaving no white cast but creating a velvety, sometimes greasy feel that divides users.
— best for: Someone with normal to oily skin who wants invisible sun protection that doubles as a silicone primer under makeup.

So hydrating but mattifying? It's a mousy texture that feels thick at first but then mattifies on the face. That thick texture i found is really good for cold harsh weather as well to protect skin. It works like a charm as a primer or on makeup no makeup days where I want my face to be blurred. It has a blurring tint to it that works well for my pale skin tone for a very light coverage. I’ve been using this sunscreen for the past few years now and can never be without it! I was shocked the first time I ever used it because it doesn’t seem like a sunscreen at all. It’s clear, it’s odourless, and doesn’t have that greasy/shiny sunscreen feeling. It’s so smooth and silky, works well with makeup, and has excellent sun protection. I know you’re supposed to reapply sunscreen, but I’ve lyssbenn · sephora.com
