What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Robot Vacuum
across 5 reviews
3.4/5
Reviewers praise
  • Lidar navigation creates precise maps and moves efficiently in straight lines with near-complete room coverage
  • Strong suction and airflow numbers exceed many premium robots, picking up surface debris well on hard floors and carpet
  • Mapping features include room labeling, zone selection, and virtual walls through the companion app
Reviewers push back
  • Brush roller tangles heavily with longer human hair and requires frequent manual cleaning
  • Cannot pick up debris from crevices even on maximum power
  • Battery life is below average, though it does recharge and resume cleaning automatically
The Wyze Robot Vacuum delivers lidar navigation and solid cleaning performance at a fraction of the typical cost, though it sacrifices some features and struggles with hair management.
— best for: This suits budget-conscious buyers who want lidar mapping and app-based room control in homes with mostly hard floors and short pet hair.
Roomba j7+
across 5 reviews
3.4/5
Reviewers praise
  • Front camera detects and avoids pet waste, cords, and small obstacles reliably; iRobot offers replacement if it runs over dog feces
  • Dual rubberized brush system delivers strong carpet deep-clean scores despite low measured airflow and suction
  • Compact self-empty base rarely clogs with pet hair and holds up to 60 days of debris in replaceable bags
Reviewers push back
  • Navigation feels jerky and less methodical during initial mapping compared to ceiling-camera models; coverage degrades noticeably around chair legs and near the base itself
  • Human hair tangles heavily around brush rolls and requires manual cleaning after each run
  • Dirt Detect mode activates inconsistently; one reviewer saw it trigger only once across multiple tests
The Roomba j7+ combines strong carpet cleaning and reliable obstacle avoidance with a compact self-empty base, but navigates clumsily during mapping and shows inconsistent coverage around furniture.
— best for: Best for pet owners prioritizing obstacle avoidance and hands-off maintenance who clean frequently and value a compact, quiet system over aggressive suction.

Where reviewers split on Robot Vacuum: One reviewer found noise levels quite high on default power, while others did not emphasize this issue On Roomba j7+: One reviewer found edge cleaning very effective while another saw the robot struggle with pet hair tufts, pushing them around without picking them up

this vacuum is beefy and well designed. It has two very strong hard river wheels with a central brush and a side brush that loosened stuff in the corners. The smartphone interface is very intuitive and easy to use and the vacuum comes pretty much ready to go out of the box. We have been amazed at how much more dog hair and stuff this thing picks up versus using our handheld Dyson. We liked it so m wyze.com

Performance:Premium quality Was soooo impressed with how fast I can set up and use it, just 3 mins set up using app 😂 the whole set was super premium and high quality, I feel so worth it with this purchase!! Previously using another cheaper brand but easily spoiled, then was highly recommended by my friend to use iRobot. Best thing about this is the robot can self clean and the dirt disposal can shopee.com.my
