About

What it is.

Coros positions Pace Pro within its GPS sports watch lineup, built for runners and multisport athletes who train and race with structured plans. It pairs an AMOLED display with a larger digital dial and back button, aiming for reliable control in wet conditions or late into a triathlon leg.

The watch works alongside the Coros app, which handles workout syncing, coach collaboration, and route building, plus phone casting for a bigger view of metrics mid-session. Training load and fitness trend analysis draw on programming from certified coaches and professional athletes, giving structured guidance to those preparing for race-day performance rather than casual step tracking.

The verdict

The Coros Pace Pro delivers a compelling combination of AMOLED display quality, battery endurance, and lightweight construction that resonates with fitness-focused buyers (4.8/5 stars), though durability and heart rate sensor reliability remain points of contention among owners.

In their words

I got this to replace a Garmin Epix Pro (gen 2) that I "had to" give to my daughter when her Forerunner 945 could no longer hold a charge. This watch (which is only 1/3 of the price of a new Epix Pro!) has blown me away with how suited it is for runners. This review is mostly a comparison of this Corps to my Garmin, even though my Garmin was a higher-tiered premium watch.

NJ runner · verified purchase · REI

Coming from a Garmin, there are pros and cons. I gave the watch 3 weeks, but ultimately returned it because the little annoyances were too much. Pros: Software is simpler to use and the app is much better than Garmin. Using maps on the Pace Pro was a pleasure compared to my Forerunner 965. Garmin's do come with a level of what feels like bloat, that you end up hiding.

Battery drains fast, degrades over months of use

Moderate severity

Multiple owners report battery life dropping significantly after months of ownership; the 4.8★ rating built on early reviews may not reflect this degradation that develops over time.
