Owners love the lightweight, fast-absorbing texture and clean finish that works well for oily skin, but some find the hydration boost modest and the price-to-value ratio questionable.

Brand claims1/3 true3 promises checked

The marketing is honest about the serum's lightweight absorption and non-greasy finish, which buyers consistently confirm. However, the "intense moisture" and "unsurpassed" hydration claims stretch beyond what the data shows—hydration effectiveness scores only 4.2/5 and some buyers call it "decent" rather than outstanding. The 24-hour duration, fine-line reduction, and Swertia chirata benefits are entirely unverified by the available data.

The verdict

What the panel makes of it.

The AI panel ranks this serum seventh among hyaluronic acid options, and buyers mostly agree it's solid for oily skin—the lightweight, fast-absorbing formula earns a 4.4/5 rating from over 18,000 reviewers who praise its clean finish. The main trade-off: modest hydration gains at $54 make the value proposition uncertain for those seeking more potent moisture.

Review 2's concern about hydration being "light to moderate" rather than intensive aligns with the product's positioning as an intensive hydration serum, suggesting some buyers expect stronger results.

In their words

This serum is fantastic. My skin loves it. It moisturizes, nourishes, and soothes beautifully. It has a light consistency and absorbs quickly. It doesn't clog pores and gives the skin a delicate glow. The product is large and efficient. I recommend it to anyone who needs extra hydration.

Annag19899 · verified purchase · drunkelephant.co.uk

I am using a full size of this and it is a decent hydration serum but not outstanding, and there are a few niggles. It has a thicker gel texture which makes it easier to apply than the runny types, it absorbs reasonably quickly and has no noticeable scent - I like all of these. It gives a light to moderate hydration boost, it is not very hydrating.
