About

What it is.

Viaggio Flex 120 is Peg Perego's high-back booster built for the child-to-preteen stretch, using rigid LATCH or vehicle seat belt installation with green-indicator confirmation and forward-facing seating only. 4D Total Adjust Technology governs the recline and adjustable headrest, while Kinetic Pods and a reinforced backrest handle impact management; padding extends through the torso wings, back, and leg area for extended wear. Designed and manufactured in Italy, it carries Transport Canada certification and is not rated for airplane use.

It suits families wanting one booster that spans multiple growth stages with minimal re-buying, provided there's enough vehicle space to accommodate its high-back frame — those needing a compact or minimalist booster should look elsewhere.

The verdict

The Peg Perego Viaggio Flex 120 ranks fifth among booster seats and earns strong buyer approval (4.9/5 stars) for safety standards and adjustability, though its weight makes it impractical for frequent vehicle switching despite marketing claims of easy portability. At $300, it suits families prioritizing build quality and comfort over mobility.

In their words

I love this booster, it’s the safety standards I expect from Peg with the ability to adjust 4 ways.. it looks beautiful, the leatherette fabric is easy to wipe & doesn’t get dirty easily. We went from 2 car seats across to 3 & this replaced my Britax Frontier. Having no arm rest makes it simple for kids to buckle on their own too. Highly recommend.

Son likes the car seat. It is easy to move around for the most part but depends more on the car's placement of the LATCH hooks. We switch it between the van and car. Van has "visible" hooks while the car's hooks are covered by some fabric. Children find it comfortable even for long car rides. I do find it a bit weighty and am getting 2 more so we don't have to keep switching them around...
