Owners praise the bouncy ride, fit, and eye-catching design, but cushioning and arch support divide them—some find them inadequate for serious running or longer distances.

Brand claims1/4 true4 promises checked

The marketing honestly captures the shoe's standout strengths—bouncy ride, fit, and striking design—which owner reviews consistently praise. However, the pitch overstates comfort and performance by downplaying the significant cushioning and support gaps that divide users and limit the shoe's viability for serious running or longer distances.

In their words

Great trainers, love the colour (very bright orange), but you won't be missed whilst out running, also really bouncy and fit my feet well in terms of width, even the tongue is great as its a good fabric that doesn't slide down and I got a discount on them so good price. Wouldn't usually buy puma as a go to running shoe, but definitely would again, great running trainers.

Too little cushioning and not enough support for running even in a Hyrox event. They gave me horrendous pains in my feet and I have changed back to my usual [****] Ghost. I got them specifically for Hyrox which is what they are advertised for and I cannot use them so I have wasted my money. My advice if you are a serious or casual runner stay away from these.

What the data shows

The shoe excels as a casual trainer with strong design, fit, and bounce ratings, but divided opinions on cushioning and support limit its all-around suitability for serious or distance running.
