In their words

this is my holy grail life saver. You can carry this in your purse, bag, or pocket. I do love how this is travel sized and how effective it is to get out stains. If you’re really messy or clumsy in general and you’re always spilling stuff on yourself this gets in out by simply pressing the stick down multiple times and rubbing with it.

I find that the spots it works with, for those the removal takes place easily. The pesky spots that aren't going to disappear even after you go over and over it for several minutes and then also hit with Shout before washing, they are the ones that don't wipe away in a couple of strokes with this pen and that remain light stains at least forever. When it works, it's like a miracle.

Frequently asked

What buyers want to know.

  • Does Tide pen remove stains instantly?

Reviewers found it works quickly on fresh food stains like ketchup on fabric, but the instant-removal claim requires significant effort and time in practice. Speed depends heavily on the stain type and how long it's been set.

  • Do tide to go pens really work?

Reviewers say the pen breaks down fresh food stains on smooth fabrics well when treated right away. It does not work on embedded dirt, deep stains, or shoe material, and textured or woven fabrics show less dramatic results than smooth surfaces.

  • How does the Tide stain remover pen work?

The pen has a built-in scrubbing tip that helps lift stains while dispensing liquid onto the fabric. The cap design prevents leaks when carried in bags or purses.

  • Who is this product best for?

It works best for people who need emergency treatment for fresh food spills on clothing while away from home. It is not for anyone trying to clean embedded dirt from shoes or tackle old set-in stains.
