About

What it is.

Gisou's Honey Infused Hair Oil is a lightweight styling and treatment oil built around the brand's signature Mirsalehi honey, sourced from the family apiary that anchors Gisou's identity as a honey-centric hair care house. It sits in the finishing-oil category, meant to be smoothed onto damp or dry lengths to soften texture, tame frizz, and impart shine without weighing hair down.

Formulated for use across hair types, it works as a daily conditioning step or a final touch after styling. It suits those drawn to Gisou's polished, luxury-leaning positioning within hair care, and to anyone seeking an established, widely trusted formula rather than an experimental one.

The verdict

This lightweight honey oil delivers noticeable shine and absorbs quickly without greasiness, earning strong buyer approval for its hydrating formula, though leaky packaging and steep pricing for the bottle size frustrate some users.

Buyers' weakest aspect—packaging leakage—directly echoes critic concerns about the bottle's durability and leak-prone design during travel.

In their words

Honey, when I say this hydrates your hair, I’m not playing. I use this Before bed and after the shower. On Freshly washed hair and 1-2 day old hair. This will give your hair liFE. I love using this after I do a blow out; I love it for when I put braids, and for days my hair is looking dry a needs a little pick me up. A little goes a long way. Smells lovely. Worth the money.

I love the oil but hate the packaging. If you travel alot, you will need to replace the bottle and dropper. The bottle leaks fairly quickly so if it ends up on its side or upside down, expect it to be pretty much drained. If the packaging was leak proof then I would have given 5 stars.
