Reviewers praise
  • J-frame stability feels supportive without being intrusive or clunky
  • Lighter than most stability shoes while maintaining cushion and support
  • Versatile enough for easy runs, tempo work, and longer distances
Reviewers push back
  • Exposed midsole foam wears faster than rubber-covered areas
  • Sizing runs slightly long for some runners;fit can be inconsistent across versions
  • Not ideal for lateral movement or weightlifting due to rocker platform
it was almost like I could trust it every single time that I stepped
Running Warehouse · best for Runners with mild to moderate pronation who want a light daily trainer that handles everything from easy miles to tempo runs without switching shoes.
Glycerin 20
across 5 reviews
3.0/5
divided
Reviewers praise
  • DNA Loft v3 foam is noticeably more responsive and lively than previous glycerin versions
  • Exceptionally durable rubber outsole that withstands high mileage with minimal wear
  • Comfortable step-in feel with generous padding around collar and tongue
Reviewers push back
  • Heavy for a daily trainer at around eleven ounces for men, over eight for women
  • Extensive rubber coverage deadens the foam and reduces the bouncy feel
  • Foam feels medium-firm rather than truly soft despite cushioning claims
The Glycerin 20 delivers improved bounce and responsiveness through its DNA Loft v3 foam, but remains heavy and pedestrian compared to lighter, more engaging daily trainers at similar or lower cost.
— best for: Runners seeking maximum cushioning for easy miles, long runs, or all-day comfort who prioritize durability and stability over speed or weight.

Where reviewers split on Arahi 6: Some reviewers found the arch support noticeable underfoot while others felt no sensation at all during runs On Glycerin 20: One reviewer suffered blisters from excess forefoot room while others found the roomier fit an improvement

This is my 4th pair of Arahi’s in the last 3 years. I’ve found the Arahi’s 6 to last approximately 550-600kms and it’s by far one of the best stability shoes out in the market and perfect for long runs. Although the shoe is light considering it’s purpose it’s not really recommended for pace/tempo sessions. Strongly recommended! Rafael · sigmasports.com
