What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Apple Watch Series 10
across 5 reviews
3.5/5
mixed
Reviewers praise
  • Significantly thinner and lighter build, especially the titanium models, makes it noticeably more comfortable for all-day and sleep wear.
  • Faster charging lets users reach a usable charge in minutes, unlocking sleep tracking for people who previously skipped it.
  • Larger display with improved off-axis viewing angles makes glancing at the watch easier in real use.
Reviewers push back
  • Battery duration is unchanged at roughly 18 hours; reviewers note Apple used the engineering headroom for thinness rather than longer life.
  • The second-hand on the always-on display works only with two specific watch faces at launch, limiting practical usefulness.
  • The S10 chip shows no perceptible speed or capability improvement over its predecessor in everyday use.
A genuinely thinner, lighter, faster-charging Apple Watch with meaningful comfort gains, but reviewers broadly agree it is an incremental rather than landmark upgrade.
— best for: iPhone users on a Series 8 or older — especially those who skip sleep tracking because of battery anxiety — will feel the comfort and charging improvements most acutely.
iPhone 16 Pro
across 5 reviews
3.0/5
divided
Reviewers praise
  • A18 Pro chip delivers strong, efficient real-world performance with benchmark gains over the prior generation
  • Stereo speakers are among the best on any phone — loud, spatially convincing, and Dolby Atmos-capable
  • Thinner bezels give a slightly larger usable display without increasing the physical footprint
Reviewers push back
  • Camera Control button is widely considered fiddly and awkward in practice, especially in portrait orientation, with limited utility over existing controls
  • Computational photography pipeline produces noticeably flat, low-contrast images by default, a criticism that predates this model and worsens here
  • The chip runs hot under sustained load or in high ambient temperatures, causing throttling and choppy video recording
The iPhone 16 Pro is a capable but incrementally modest upgrade over its predecessor, hampered at launch by unfinished software and a camera button that most reviewers found more gimmicky than transformative, though build quality, chip performance, and speakers earn genuine praise.
— best for: Users moving from a device two or more generations older who want a reliable, fast, and well-built phone with strong speakers and improved zoom, and who can tolerate software features arriving gradually over time.

Where reviewers split on Apple Watch Series 10: Off-axis display brightness improvement: one reviewer found the claimed 40% gain barely perceptible, while others described the wide-angle OLED as a noticeable real-world benefit. On iPhone 16 Pro: Battery life improvement: MKBHD found it roughly on par with the prior generation, while the long-term reviewer reports a consistently solid 10–14 hours of use and considers it dependable

So I chose the bigger watch as I’m getting older and I need to be able to see the screen ,now this was a purchase due to my new job as I’m a healthcare aid and answering the phone is not possible when you’re in the middle of your job. This Apple Watch was the answer. It makes checking a text or seeing who is calling so much easier while I’m doing My tasks without having to pull out a phone, and as Trish S · influenster.com

Upgraded from the iPhone 14 Pro to the iPhone 16 Pro. I really didn’t want to upgrade but after the battery swelled in the 14 I had no choice. I thought I wouldn’t find a better phone than the 14 which I loved, but to my pleasant surprise I was wrong. The 16 pro clears the 14 and it’s not even close. The responsiveness of the A18 pro chip is insane. Surfing the web is so much faster and is an actu Tyler S · influenster.com
