Reviewers split

What they praise

  • Very lightweight—seven to eight pounds without base—making it easy to carry in and out of vehicles
  • Installation is simple with audible click confirmation and clear level indicator on the base
  • Accommodates low birth weight infants starting at four pounds
  • Harness adjusts from the front without re-threading and stays balanced on both sides
  • Click Connect attachment works smoothly with compatible Graco strollers in one step

What they knock

  • Fabric feels thin and less cozy compared to pricier seats
  • Narrow design at the top limits head room and irritates older babies
  • Canopy sometimes catches or sticks on the handle
  • Harness height and crotch buckle position can ride high on very small newborns despite two slots
  • Base lacks built-in seat belt lock-off found on other models in the line

Who reviewers think this product is — and isn’t — for

For you if

Parents who prioritize light weight and ease of carrying, need to accommodate a low birth weight infant, and want straightforward installation at a reasonable price.

Buyers' weakest aspect (quality control) aligns with video reviewers' observation that the base lacks built-in seat belt lock-off features found on comparable models.

In their words

I felt assured strapping my newborn daughter in this car seat for the first time. Before leaving the hospital, you must have an infant car seat - and I trust this one 100%. The click-connect is reliable, knowing she is safely snuggled in, the sound is reassuring. New Mom's know what I mean. Knowing incase an accident were to happen, that this specific car seat will not budge, put my mind at ease.

Poor quality control. Handle release did not operate out of the box. No excuses for defective equipment out of the factory as every piece of safety equipment sold should be thoroughly inspected. Also, I received a 4 year old car seat. The car seat was shipped directly from Graco.
