Where reviewers disagree: Hair tangle resistance varies: one reviewer found zero tangles with seven-inch hair while others saw significant tangling requiring scissors; Navigation around furniture: some reviewers found it efficient while others noted it bounces off chair legs and misses coverage; Deep carpet cleaning scored well in one test at 69.83% but others did not focus on this metric

Reviewers split

What they praise

  • Navigates in efficient straight-line patterns using gyroscopes and optical sensor instead of bouncing randomly
  • Picks up debris on hard floors and carpets as well as or better than more expensive Roborock models with excellent airflow
  • Battery matches premium models at 5200 mAh with two and a half hours runtime on low power
  • Large 640 milliliter dustbin capacity, bigger than premium S-series models
  • Brushroll resists tangles well with five-inch hair strands

What they knock

  • No real-time map or app features like no-go lines or room selection because it lacks lidar
  • Struggles with longer seven-inch hair which tangles around the brushroll and requires manual cleaning
  • Edge cleaning performance is weak with side brush scattering debris along walls
  • Struggles to navigate properly underneath chairs and around chair legs

Buyers' weakest aspect—navigation and getting stuck repeatedly—directly overlaps the video reviewers' concern about poor navigation underneath and around furniture obstacles.

In their words

The vacuum is not very loud. It can be programmed easily. The charge lasts for a fair amount of time. It does a good job on my ceramic floors. I have no rugs. For the price and the time cleaning that it saves me I'm happy with it. The price was very fair compared to other brands

Brought this unit to replace a old Roomba 610 model which I had for 5 years. I must say this unit is very disappointing compared to my old unit. I only use it on manual setting since the APP doesn't work but its infuriating that it keeps getting stuck on different locations and just keeps going back to those locations over and over so you manually have to remove it from a stuck area constantly. Its
