AI summary of 4 reviews · as of May 2026

Reviewers agree the Jet Bot AI+ excels at obstacle avoidance and navigation but lacks mopping capability and comes with a tall body that limits where it can clean.

Where reviewers disagree: One reviewer found the soft roller ideal for hard floors but inadequate for carpet agitation, while another noted decent carpet performance overall; Pet hair removal opinions vary: one reviewer found performance good but not great on high-pile carpet, while another noted general struggles with pet fur

What they praise

  • Exceptional obstacle avoidance using front camera and 3D sensors, with options to fine-tune detection and avoid small objects reliably
  • Strong lidar-based navigation that maps spaces accurately and returns to base consistently without getting lost
  • Clean station automatically empties the dustbin into a disposable bag that holds debris for extended periods
  • Picks up debris well on hard floors and carpets, with good suction power and a wide soft-brush roller that seals against hard surfaces
  • Samsung SmartThings app offers extensive control, including virtual barriers, scheduling, pet monitoring, and stain detection features

What they knock

  • Tall and bulky body prevents cleaning under low furniture compared to competitors
  • Soft brush roller tangles easily with long hair and requires scissors to clean out, taking several minutes
  • No mopping function while competitors at similar price points offer vacuum-mop combos
  • Cleaning speed is slower than other models, taking up to 110 minutes for a thousand-square-foot space

Buyers' weakest aspect—reliability and suction power—directly overlaps video reviewers' concerns about slow cleaning speed and the machine's inability to effectively vacuum despite being its core function.

In their words

Very impressed so far with the robot. Had waited ages for a product that did both mopping and vacuum with an auto empty charge station and was willing to pay the premium when it did finally arrive. Does a brilliant job.,, when it decides to. The software is a massive let down. Kinda feels like 95% of the development was spent on the hardware - which thus far seems amazing, and then the software wa

Do not buy one of these. The idea is good, the app is pretty great, and ‘some’ of the tech works really well, but the overall product is unreliable - base station floods, onboard dust tank doesn’t empty - and Samsung service/support is by far the worst I have use in the last 10years. We purchased in November 2024. We had various teething issues with mapping but it did generally figure things out,
