Short answer?

Take Butterfly if you weight reviewer scores; take MINU V2 if the AI ranking, buyer ratings and a lower price matter more. That's where they diverge — elsewhere they're close.

How this is made

Built from what 2 AI models (Perplexity · Claude) recommend for real buyer questions, layered with reviewer test summaries, Google buyer ratings, street prices and press. The short answer and verdict are derived from where those signals diverge — not written by hand for either product.

What reviewers say

Distilled from the video reviewers — the score, what they praise, where they push back.?

Butterfly
across 5 reviews
4.0/5
divided
Reviewers praise
  • Rigid, well-constructed chassis with reinforced metal reduces alignment issues and rickety feel compared to other compacts
  • Large seat with tall backrest and wide dimensions accommodates toddlers comfortably through three to four years
  • Smooth push on pavement and indoor surfaces with sturdy handling that feels premium
Reviewers push back
  • Heavier and bulkier than many competing travel strollers at sixteen pounds, making carrying less convenient
  • Small wheels struggle on cobblestones, gravel, and broken pavement
  • Fold and unfold require practice and can feel stiff or stick initially, not as effortless as advertised
Reviewers agree the Butterfly delivers a sturdy build, smooth push, and roomy seat for a compact stroller, though the fold takes practice and the extra weight and bulk may frustrate some travelers.
— best for: Parents who prioritize build quality and a roomy seat for older toddlers, mainly pushing on smooth urban surfaces and occasional air travel.
MINU V2
across 5 reviews
3.5/5
divided
Reviewers praise
  • Solid chassis construction with sturdy metal internal components and reinforced hinges that resist loosening over time
  • Above-average suspension and larger rear wheels absorb shock better than most ultra-compact strollers
  • Easy one-handed fold and unfold with spring-loaded locking mechanism and convenient carry strap
Reviewers push back
  • Seat recline pivots in the middle which some children find uncomfortable because it leans forward when they do
  • Canopy has excess loose fabric at the back that flaps and sometimes pops up partially when hitting bumps
  • Not tall enough for older children — seat back height causes heads to hang over by age two or three
every time I went back to the Uppa baby I just feel the quality in it
The Stroller Mom · best for Parents who want a durable everyday compact stroller with sturdy build quality and smooth handling on sidewalks and can gate-check for travel.

Where reviewers split on Butterfly: One reviewer found the fold clumsy and not as easy as hoped, while others praised it as simple and convenient once mastered On MINU V2: One reviewer found the bumpiness worse than most strollers tested with an accelerometer, while others praised the suspension as noticeably effective

The bumper bar is definitely a must-have! My baby is still a bit small, but she already loves using it. She rests her feet on it, holds onto it to keep her toys from falling, and seems to enjoy the feel of the leather material. The stroller itself feels very secure, but the added support of the bumper bar makes it even better for us. It’s super easy to install, to remove, and to clean. Just a quic Rose · Target

Pro: Easy to push Adjustable footrest Included leather bumper bar Updated canopy Large basket Once again UPPAbaby has made a beautiful well-constructed stroller. The Charlotte fabric on this Minu v2 is this stunning blue color and it looks amazing with the saddle leather. The newly adjustable footrest is perfect as is the addition of the included leather bumper bar. And I love the updated canopy,, Tami · albeebaby.com
