Assembly time & complexity2.5
Piece count transparency2.0
Design variety & fun factor4.0
Vertical building capability4.5

Both buyers flagged structural instability and parts movement during play, which aligns with concerns about the set's engineering and durability.

In their words

Pro - The vertical starter set is better at building tracks that actually run well due to the taller build pieces, compared to the regular starter set which we also have. Con - You need to take 72 pieces to assemble 12 pillars, this is very misleading info on piece-count for the set, and also quite time consuming to build, these pillars should have been packaged pre-built for the set.

My 10yo choose this product as his birthday gift. It took him 4 to 6 hours to build the most complex design out of provided 6 designs. While building this structure is fun and its not too easy since provided guide book is not well directional. Once build we found out that some of parts does not stay solid and moves with provided heavy ball. Many times ball drop out and structure parts moves.
