Review 1 flags excessive stiffness and heat as deal-breakers for rucking, echoing the video reviewers' concern about the shoe's aggressive, technical-boot character limiting casual versatility.

In their words

Great shoe, very aggressive lug let's you cover many terrains without any problems. Breathable, stylish, and comfortable right out the box. Definitely would recommend to others.

My idea of a trainer is capable and comfortable carrying 20-40lbs on 4-8 mile rucks. these are way to stiff for that, and hot as all get out in late spring and summer. Its like they took an all mountain boot, threw some weaving on the upper and cut the ankle support off and called it good. I have about a year on these, 3-4 days a week between hunt seasons.
