About

What it is.

Galaxy Buds FE 2 sit within Samsung's Galaxy Buds family of true wireless earbuds, positioned as an entry point into that lineup while retaining core features like Active Noise Cancellation and a wingtip-equipped fit designed to stay secure through extended wear. They're built for Galaxy phone owners who want earbuds that integrate with Samsung's software ecosystem, notably Live Translate, which pipes real-time spoken translation from the Samsung Phone app directly into the buds during calls or face-to-face exchanges.

Touch controls on the stems handle playback, pausing, and volume, with tap zones shaped distinctly from the grip areas to reduce accidental input. As part of the broader Galaxy Buds line, they suit listeners already anchored to Samsung hardware rather than those seeking a standalone or platform-agnostic earbud.

The verdict

Samsung Galaxy Buds FE 2 deliver strong sound and active noise cancellation at an accessible price, earning consistent buyer approval, though durability and battery-life reliability remain points of contention among owners.

Buyers note durability concerns with the case wearing quickly, which aligns with critics' lack of emphasis on build quality as a strength.

In their words

Been through a few wireless earbuds now, can’t quite fork out $400 for top of the range ones because I’ll lose them. But these were on sale for $80AUD, I’d buy them again in a heartbeat. Good battery life, great sound quality, very secure in ear, touch controls aren’t oversensitive! I do experience a little ear fatigue and need to adjust them. Can still wear these for a couple of hours at a time,

Overall I was very pleased with how clean these arrived, at first I was a bit questioning of previously used ear buds, but aside from the box being a little scuffed up the buds and case look and feel brand new. I do really like the design, the buds themselves are quite small and stay in better than most, and the case is also quite small.
