The verdict

What the panel makes of it.

Bowflex makes the SelectTech 840 dumbbell. Released around 2007, designed in America. The weight adjusts from five to forty pounds. A dial mechanism shifts resistance without changing handles. Home lifters buy it to replace multiple dumbbells. It saves space in small gyms. AI assistants rank it fourth among adjustable dumbbells.

In their words

I purchased this for my husband and I have been using it to help me combat osteoporosis, as well. It is easy to adjust and comfortable to lift. This is so compact and doesn't take up the space that several weights would. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to strength train at home. It is 6 kettlebells in 1! The handle is comfortable, the adjustment dial clicks securely in place and Bowflex m

I love the versatility of this kettle bell. To have this many weighted kettlebells only take up the space of 1 is amazing. The range of 8 lbs. to 40 lbs. is perfect for someone getting introduced to kettlebell workouts. Seems sturdy and seems like it will last. I think my only major issue is the edge before the weight can dig into y wrist/forearm but this isnt a huge deal and easy to adjust to.
