The verdict

What the panel makes of it.

The Snode AD80 ranks fourth among adjustable dumbbells and earns a 4.9-star rating from 639 buyers who consistently cite solid build quality and smooth adjustment, though magnet durability and plate sticking remain persistent issues that justify the $731–$800 price tag only for users prioritizing space-saving design over long-term reliability.

In their words

When I first started working out at home, I compared a lot of adjustable dumbbells and eventually chose the Snode AD80. After using them, I found the build quality to be very solid, and the adjustment mechanism is smooth and convenient. They fully meet my daily training needs. Overall, I feel this was a worthwhile investment, and it has motivated me to stay consistent with my fitness routine.

I would be careful buying these. Im not sure it's worth the money. The plates are getting stuck together so im unable to adjust to certain weights, and the magnets were good for about 2 weeks then the middle magnet piece broke off on 4 of the pieces. So i now have only half of the magnets i ordered. I tried contacting them for a replacement because if im paying this much money they should be able

Could fit

Excellent buyer rating (4.9/5, 639 reviews) with strong marks for build, durability, and adjustment mechanism, but magnet reliability weakness and mid-tier brand status prevent a higher score.
